Alaska Adventure Retreat

Spend a week in Alaska with the High School Youth Ministry

Alaska 2026 is in the works!

I thought the Alaska trip was very spiritual and really helped strengthen my connection with God. Prayer ministry and adoration every night were incredible, and I loved being a part of it.
When I first came to camp, I was dreading the week because my best friend canceled last minute and I barely knew anyone. I was thankfully proven wrong, met so many new friends, and had an unforgettable experience with God.
I had always believed the Lord was real, but I had never truly sensed His presence like I did on this retreat. I cried during adoration—something I never do—and this retreat touched my heart and soul in a way I had never experienced before.
I really enjoyed hearing the witnesses from all the different adults. It was valuable to see that even people who are very strong in their faith went through difficult moments while growing closer to God.
This retreat was a great time to disconnect from the world and truly connect with God alongside other Catholics. It was a life-changing experience that opened my eyes, and I would tell others to go even if they don’t want to at first because it is worth it.
This week has honestly been the best week of my life, and I have never felt more loved than I did during adoration. The laughter, tears, new friendships, and experiences helped me grow in my faith and left me full of joy and love.
This experience helped me grow deeper roots in my faith, especially during a time when I felt like I was slipping away. I could feel God’s presence in nature, in the people around me, and through the powerful witnesses, praise and worship, and time away from my phone.
I really enjoyed disconnecting from social media and technology so I could be fully present and truly myself for the week. I would recommend this retreat to any Catholic high schooler looking to strengthen their faith and build real, meaningful connections.
This has been one of the most amazing weeks of my life. I especially loved experiencing the Eucharist every day and spending time in adoration.
