SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING

Our new year is about to kick off and we want to be ready. We can’t be with our children or vulnerable adults at all times, but we can learn ways to help keep them safe when we’re not there. All employees and those volunteers who have unsupervised, ongoing access to minors or vulnerable adults are        required to attend a 3-hour Called to Protect Safe Environment course.

You’ll learn:

· Facts and Myths about child sexual abuse

· How offenders gain access to children

· Warning signs to look for in children, or adults

· Actions to take when you notice warning signs

Holy Family is hosting it’s next course on August 20, 2018 at 6:30pm in the Social Hall.  You will NEED to register online by visiting virtusonline.org and clicking on the Registration tab  located on the right hand of the page.  If you have any questions about registration, please call the Parish Office.
