Rerouting Purpose

The call to Holiness and the call to Mission are the responsibility of all baptized Catholics, yet most of us struggle with this challenge. If we look at the lives of the Saints for guidance, they show us a relationship with Jesus needs to be personal. When we choose to follow Jesus, become His disciple and allow Him to be Lord of our lives, then the Holy Spirit transforms us into the saints that God desires us to be.

Rerouting Vision

A Lenten-Easter-Pentecost Spiritual Pilgrimage for all Holy Family Parishioners that leads to an encounter with the risen Jesus where we can commit to being His Disciple (or deepen our commitment).

In turn, as His Disciples we reply, “Here I am Lord. Send me to share the Joy of the Gospel with others.”

Rerouting Goals

1. To present the Gospel in complete fashion as foretold in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the life, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

2. To encourage each parishioner to respond to the personal invitation of Jesus to drop our nets and follow Him as His disciple.

3. To commit to Pope Francis’ call (and repeated at the 2017 US Catholic Convocation) to become a band of Missionary Disciples who live and share the Joy of the Gospel with others.
